Truth about bottled water

Bottled water is priced 1000 times tap water, yet many of the bottled companies including Dasani and Aquafina come from tap water. Chicago is one of the first cities that got on board by taxing and removing bottled water from the city offices. Chicago currently levies a 10 cent tax per bottle. This video below shows some insights into the water industry and how people perceive bottle water. Not only is bottled water wasteful with the production, one time use plastic and transportation by truck to each location damaging to the environment.
