Evanston Green Living Festival
Evanston’s first ever Green Living Festival takes place this Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd.
From natural pet products to electric cars, explore new products and technologies that will help protect the environment and improve everyone’s quality of life
Beginning at 9 a.m. and running through 4 p.m., the free family festival will feature exhibits from more than 20 local green businesses and organizations.
Throughout the day environmental experts and advocates as well as City of Evanston staff will explain how you can be a green citizen. Through hands-on activities, presentations and demonstrations, discover practical ideas and tips that can be used immediately to conserve precious resources.
